Monterey Cypress fell with John putting a lovely set of cuts together to control the direction and fall. The section of uncut wood across the centre of the stump is called the Hinge and this must stay intact to fold the tree into the felling direction. Cut that and you loose all control and the tree can do what it likes. Great set of cuts John!
Our team did a great job this week looking after some veteran oak trees in an ancient woodland. Reducing branch weight on damaged or over extended limbs to prevent further failures. We were spoilt with so many amazing trees to look at.
Looking after trees is our main priority, and when we have the opportunity to work on such amazing specimens, we are pleased we can offer our services. Here is a very rare weeping Lime tree we removed deadwood in last week. Looks stunning against the blue winter sky.
